Join the City of Albany Community Services and Albany Strollers & Rollers with sponsor Solano Avenue Cyclery as we explore Albany by bike on Summer evenings. Each of the three events this Summer will trace different routes that pass through parts of Albany you may not have biked before. All levels of cyclists are encouraged to join us.
We begin at 6:30 at Solano Avenue Cyclery, at Solano and Peralta. Come a few minutes early to pump up your tires. Ride maps are distributed, and we take off in a big group. There are experienced cyclists to lead and bring up the rear. After wheeling about for a half hour or forty-five minutes we return to Peralta Park, just across the street from our start, for light refreshments, a raffle, and general carousing.
Dates this year are Fridays June 22, July 27, August 24, September 28 and October 26 (special Halloween ride!)
See you there!
For the fourth straight year AS&R will be providing free Bicycle Valet Parking (at the Pumpkin Patch) to anyone who pedals or rolls to the Stroll. This year we are happy to announce Bua Luang Thai Cuisine and Tay Tah Cafe, both local businesses run by an Albany family, as our co-sponsors making this service possible!
As usual, Tay Tah and Bua Luang will be providing lunches to volunteers so RSVP to Sylvia Paull here by Monday, September 3rd to reserve your lunch and Thai Iced Tea – thanks!
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS A SUCCESS – THANKS!

Join Wheels of Justice Cyclery in Albany to learn about this summer’s AIDS/LifeCycle ride, a fully supported, 7-day bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money and awareness in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Representatives from the event will be on hand to show a video and explain how make the most of your time on the road, whether you’re a trepid beginner or seasoned expert. They’ll answer any questions and offer the chance to sign up or receive more information.
If you’re not planning on signing up for the ride, please stop by and chat, meet the staff of our shop, and pick our brain about bikes!
