Take care of ALL of those needs in one place!

Sanjiv says “come on down!”
Join us for our Happy Hour at our usual location – Everest Kitchen – they generously offer us 15% off their menu, including drinks, and yes, they have plenty of bike parking! This is our every other month (even-numbered months) informal get-together to talk about all things bike and ped in Albany. It’s a good chance to ask about what the city is up to and what our stance on issues is, and to meet others who are interested in issues related to human-scale transit/active transit.
Everyone is welcome.
Note that this will usually take place right before a Transportation Commission meeting, and will also be a good chance to talk about anything coming up on their agenda.
If you would like to discuss something at the Happy Hour, request a Happy Hour agenda item via email or Put it in the “comments” section below! Hope to see you there!
The monthly Transportation Commission Meeting, the Fourth Thursday of every month, is a great place to make your ideas known, find out about the transportation issues and projects in Albany, and help improve things for cyclists and pedestrians in and around our town.
Register and get Zoom link on the City website HERE.
The agenda will be posted on the City website HERE.
Come on down!
Have a gripe, an idea or some input about anything that would further cycling and pedestrian conditions here in Albany? Then join us at our next meeting (every other month – odd-numbered months) where we discuss policy and projects, and talk about what’s going on in Active Transportation in Albany.
(Note: currently our meetings are still online via Zoom, until further notice)
Have something you want to talk about? Request Agenda Item HERE or in “comments,” below (scroll down to the bottom for the next meeting).
Look forward to seeing you!
The Meeting link will be emailed to our GREENways Newsletter list, or email contactus@albanystrollroll.org .

Bike East Bay instructors will provide a day of fun games, safety drills, skills building and a neighborhood ride. For kids and parents!
This workshop is for kids who are able to ride a bike and are ready to take to the paths and roadways with their parents (suggested grade range 2nd-6th). The event includes instruction on:
- fitting a helmet
- performing a bike safety check
- communicating with other road users
- riding in a straight line and avoiding obstacles
- as well as navigating safely through intersections, all while playing fun games!
All minors must be accompanied by an adult to participate, both with their own working bikes and helmets.
If the class is full, you can be added to the wait list or be notified about future sessions as they are added.
Please note: Our family events are for parents and kids to participate in together. If you are interested in an in-school or youth-only bike rodeo we recommend following up with our friends at Cycles of Change instead, by emailing DriveYourBike@CyclesOfChange.org.
*THIS WORKSHOP IS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE EL CERRITO “GO GREEN! MOBILITY FAIR“
EVENT IS FREE BUT YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER HERE TO RESERVE A SPOT!
