10th Annual University Village Health and Wellness Fair. "It's easy going green" was this year's theme. Albany Strollers & Rollers had a table promoting walking and bicycling, and showcasing our efforts and projects.

Albany Strollers & Rollers provided free valet bike parking, sponsored by Meridian International Sports Café, also partnering with EBBC at two separate locations, and volunteers from both organizations were available to discuss local advocacy goals, renew memberships, and sign up new members. EBBC members joining or renewing their EBBC membership at the event received a discounted rate at the $20.00 and a free EBBC map. At the AS&R booth/BVP site, we used our new portable bike racks, designed and constructed by Ken McCroskey.

It was rather heartening to have our above claims of "50% off MSRP" confirmed the other day when I ran across the following advertisement for the exact same product in an online catalog (sans AS&R/SR2S logo, of course). AS&R members installed 150 free lights on the bikes of kids who rode to school - a huge success! Help us give more kids lights by buying some for yourself or as gifts!
