For the fourth straight year AS&R will be providing free Bicycle Valet Parking (at the Pumpkin Patch) to anyone who pedals or rolls to the Stroll. This year we are happy to announce Bua Luang Thai Cuisine and Tay Tah Cafe, both local businesses run by an Albany family, as our co-sponsors making this service possible!

National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) will screen “Singletrack High” at your local REI. Pedal Born Picture’s new documentary chronicles the high school cycling movement. This inspiring flick follows six student-athletes through the 2012 season in NICA’s NorCal High School Cycling League. The filmmakers documented the positive impacts of keeping kids active on bikes at the age when many trade in two wheels for four. Come witness the transformative power of cycling! A suggested donation of $10 will directly benefit National Interscholastic Cycling Association.

Ride your bike on down to the Albany Community Center and join us for this fabulous Bike Month event! The City will have plenty of space to park your bike in a protected area, complete with a massive bike rack. The popcorn is free and will be flowing! This film is PG. There will have plenty of space to park your bike in a protected area, complete with a massive bike rack.

Then we’ll meet back at the corner of Cornell & Solano Avenue for a “Bike-in Movie”. We will be showing ‘Chariots of Fire,’ a film sure to spark you to get out and run!
