Traffic & Safety Commission Meeting @ Council Chambers, City Hall
Dec 18 @ 7:00 pm – 10:30 pm

The Traffic & Safety Commission Meeting is a great place to make your ideas known, find out about the transportation issues and projects in Albany, and help improve things for cyclists and pedestrians in and around our town. This special date is the only time the Commission will meet during the months of November and December.

The Agenda will include:

*Kains and Adams two-way internal pilot program (to enable two-way bicycling on these streets nearest San Pablo)

*Washington on the Hill [Clear Sidewalks] Project: Draft plan to allow cars to park on the northern sidewalks and not park on the southern sidewalks on Washington between Cerrito and Pierce. (This is a small part of a larger plan to free up sidewalk access for pedestrians so that adults and kids won’t have to enter the street to move along Washington in this area.)

*Codornices Creek Restoration Project: includes bike/ped path

The agenda and all attachments are here.
