Welcome message for announce list

The list is moderated, meaning posts will automatically be held for approval by a list administrator. This list is intended to be low-volume. For discussions, please subscribe to Albany Strollers and Rollers discussion list at http://lists.ebbc.org/listinfo.cgi/albany-ebbc.org (if you haven't been already). Welcome message for discussion list

This is the discussion list for Albany Strollers and Rollers, a service and advocacy group focused on making it easier to bike, walk, skate, scoot, ride, and just generally get around Albany by any human-scale transit means. The purpose of this list is to exchange information and discuss human-scale transit projects in the City (such as cycling lanes, sidewalk repair, etc.) as well as organize events. This list is graciously hosted by the East Bay Bicycle Coalition. This list can receive more than one message a day during particularly busy periods. Many have found it helpful to switch to the digest option, which places each day's messages into one message to limit traffic to your inbox. You can switch to digest by going to http://lists.ebbc.org/listinfo.cgi/albany-ebbc.org, entering your address toward the bottom to edit your options, and then selecting digest on the next page. Messages to this list are currently limited to 100kB in size, therefore messages with large attachments will not pass through automatically, but rather be held for approval by a list administrator. Despite statements below, you will not receive a monthly reminder of your list account password. You can receive a password reminder through the list interface at http://lists.ebbc.org/listinfo.cgi/albany-ebbc.org. We hope you find this list useful. If there is any way this list could be improved, please feel free to contact a list administrator at albany-owner@lists.ebbc.org. Thank you for your interest in transportation alternatives to the automobile in the City of Albany.
